The Future of Our Businesses

Helloo!

Over the next few days I am going to be giving you some insights in to what I consider to be the single most important tool when it comes to becoming established as a therapist. In particular establishing yourself online.

The thing I am talking about is a blog. Do you have one? Have you never heard of one? Well right now you're reading one. A blog is a content filled website. It is a web based log of information, activity, developments and good old fashioned information.

As a therapist, if you don't already have a blog I strongly urge you to set one up and start posting on it, regularly.

There are 5 very important reasons that you should be blogging, if you want to grow your online presence. Here is the first.

Everyone is Online
It's true. Most of your customers will be looking online to find the kinds of information and services you are offering. So if you are easily found online then you might be saying 'buhbye' to your business in 2009.

96% of UK homes now have the internet. 99% of offices have it too. So if someone is sitting at their desk wondering how on earth they;re going to loose that weight, get the confidence to tell their boss where to shove his stupid job or anything at all they are more likely to go to the internet and search for that information. Now more than ever.

A blog will give you an even larger online presence. In the next couple of days I'll write a new article that will reveal why in fact having a blog is far more important than having a website!

Pay attention, I am being deadly serious.

p.s. I'd love to see more people using this resource so please do drop your fellow therapist friends an email to let them know of this blog. After all, I ask for very little. :)
