THE Most Important Time of the Year

Whether you subscribe to any other programmes or not, it is more than likely that you already know. This week is the single most important week of 2009.

It is this week that makes it or breaks it. It's the first week 'back to work' for many people and it's your first day too. It is time to set your sights on what it is you are going to achieve this year. What are your targets, your goals - what is it that 2009 is going to have for you that 2008 did not?

The shocking truth is, the reason it didn't happen for you in 2008 was down to one cause. That cause is a blockade, a negative something inside of you. So in order to achieve the things you deserve so much this year there is a very important pair of tasks I want you to involve yourself in and commit to the fact that you are going to do these two things before Friday this week.

Here they are:

1 - Take one of those large wall calender and a marker pen. Stick the calender somewhere prominent in the place you do most of your focused work. I have mine here in my office right above the desk I'm sitting at right now.

Take the pen and commit the things you want to achieve to that calender. This means that these goals, these intentions are now externalised and they are being set timed deadlines.

In front of you, you can see all of the things you want to achieve and at any point in the day, instead of thinking 'I have nothing to do' you can just look up at that calender and see 'what's newxt' and what you can be doing to take yourself closer to that goal.

2 - Give yourself permission to be successful. It may sound mad or even 'out there' but many people don't actually allow themselves to do the things that they want so much. You need to decide right now, as you look at your wall calender, that these things are going to be done. You're going to enjoy them and you will make small sacrifices in order to make sure that they are attained.

Tomorrow I will show you a bunch of techniques for increasing your productivity. Some of these things are hilarious and fun too!

Speak then!
